Chicken Paprika

- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups thin onion slices
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 tbsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 10 cups egg noodles
- 2 cups sour cream
- chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- cooked chicken
Instructions
- In 5 qt saucepan, melt butter. Add onion; cook until tender.
- In small bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt & pepper; stir into onion mixture until well blended.
- Gradually add broth; cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Cook noodles. Drain.
- Stir chicken & sour cream into sauce.
- Heat to serving temp. DO NOT BOIL.
- Toss with hot noodles, sprinkle with parsley.
